Tickly, Twinkly and Totally Toddler-Approved: Brush Baby Toothbrush Review
My two-year-old daughter, Athea, absolutely loves her new toothbrush - thank you so much for sending it, Brush Baby, especially with the stickers! Like many toddlers, she’s a total sticker fiend and went wild for them.
From the very first use, she was all giggles, calling her toothbrush “tickly.” It made brushing a fun and silly experience, which is a win in my book! She was initially distracted by the guide light, but now she understands that when the light turns off, it’s time to stop brushing - what clever feature.
She also loves lining up her toothbrush next to mummy’s and daddy’s. In her words: “My toothbrush is like mummy’s and daddy’s!” That sense of being just like the grown-ups has made brushing more enjoyable for her.
The morning and night tick-off sheet was a great idea to start with - though, true to her age, she had more fun colouring all the days at once rather than waiting. I imagine this would work brilliantly for slightly older kids who are a bit more patient.
All in all, a fantastic product that's turned brushing time into a more fun experience for my little wolf!
Every Friday, I treat myself to an indulgent bath which includes a glass of wine, the Real Housewives yelling at me (weirdly soothing) and a long soak in the bath. This isn’t just a quick dip in the tub - it is a full-on do not disturb moment for me, which for a mum is a rare occurrence. I struggled with separation anxiety after having my daughter, and what started as a therapeutic exercise from my therapist to help manage my separation anxiety (Thank you, Grace) has now become a non-negotiable weekly ritual.
