From Pasta to Biscuits: A Realfoods by Organico Taste Tour

Writer’s note: Even though these products were gifted to me, all the thoughts and opinions shared here are completely my own. My reviews are based on my personal experience with the products, aiming to give you an honest and unbiased perspective.

What I Tried

I was offered the chance to try a selection of biscuits, and having a massive sweet tooth, I jumped at it. I was really sold on the opportunity by the Speculoos Biscuits, but the Petit-Beurre and Choc Chip cookies looked great too.

Imagine my surprise when I opened the box to see not only a pack of each of those biscuits, but also:

Now, if I use the breadsticks as a starter, the biscuits as a dessert and the rest as a main, I’ve got a full three-course meal!

How I Used Them

I had family visiting this past weekend, so it was a perfect time to try everything. We had a mini taste test of the biscuits, where we each tried each of them and shared our thoughts.

We chose to have the majority of the rest of the haul for dinner. I cooked up the spelt pasta, added some chopped ham and chicken, the borlotti beans, some peas and sweetcorn, and the puttanesca sauce.

My Experience & Results

Overall, the speculoos biscuits were the favourite, with the petit-beurres coming in second. The chocolate chip cookies were tasty, but (and I think it’s because they’re vegan) they felt like they were missing something. They were on the drier side and quite crumbly. To their credit, though, they were super super chocolatey. I’d recommend just having a glass of (plant-based if you like) milk handy when eating these. I liked that the cookies and petit-beurres came in small packs, making them perfect for on the go… and not eating the entire packet at once!

The pasta was genuinely delicious. I often find that so-called ‘healthier’ pastas have a noticeably different taste or texture compared to regular white pasta, but this one held its own beautifully - I honestly couldn’t tell the difference. The borlotti beans were perfectly fine - nothing fancy, but they did the job well. As for the Puttanesca sauce, I was a bit apprehensive since it contains olives (not usually my thing at all), but they blended into the sauce really nicely and didn’t overpower the other flavours. One small note: the jar says it serves four, but as someone who likes a generous helping of sauce, I found myself wishing there was just a bit more.

Final Thoughts

This little foodie adventure with Realfoods by Organico turned out to be an absolute treat - and not just because of the biscuits (though they definitely helped). From cupboard staples to indulgent snacks, everything felt considered, high quality, and true to the brand’s ethos of sustainable, honest food.

The pasta and sauce made for a quick yet satisfying meal, ideal for feeding family or friends without compromising on taste or values. The biscuits were a definite highlight - especially the Speculoos - and even the ones that didn’t quite hit the mark for me still had their charms (and chocolate chunks).

What stood out most, though, was the brand’s commitment to doing things properly. Organic ingredients, thoughtful sourcing, and a clear care for both people and planet. If you’re looking to stock up your kitchen with feel-good essentials and guilt-free treats, Organico’s range is a solid place to start.
