Sziget Festival Announces Second Wave of Artists
Sziget festival has added A$AP Rocky, Post Malone, and Shawn Mendes. These artists join the previously announced Anyma, Chappell Roan and Charli XCX. Other notable additions to the programme include horsegiirL, Helado Negro, Hermanos Gutiérrez, Caribou, Ahadadream, Hedex b2b Bou and more.
Sziget Festival has always been known for the diversity of its musical acts, and with the second wave of artists being recently announced, 2025 is set to be its biggest year yet. The six-day festival is set to return to Óbuda Island from the 6-11th August this year. 19 new names have recently been added to the already impressive lineup. Known as the “Island of Freedom”, Sziget Festival is an immersive experience that offers festival goers the chance to escape into a vibrant world of shows and workshops that include theatre, circus, dance, art and of course, music.
Post Malone has been announced on the lineup, his genre-bending sound and charm will entice the crowds. His chart-topping hits include ‘Sunflower’ and ‘Rockstar’, and he also appears on Beyonce’s album Cowboy Carter. The electrifying A$AP Rocky will also take the stage, gearing up to release his fourth studio album ‘Don't Be Dumb’, which features the chart-climbing singles ‘Tailor Swif’ and ‘Ruby Rosary’. Shawn Mendes has also been announced after a two-year hiatus. After the release of his self-titled album Shawn, the artist is shifting towards a softer and more stripped-back folk-rock sound, promising an intimate and unforgettable experience for festival goers.
Sziget is set to host dance music phenomenon horsegiirL, whose bold fusion of Eurodance, happy hardcore, gabber, and trance, infused with boundless creativity, is making waves across the scene. Caribou, the alias of Dan Snaith, will bring his pop energy to Sziget with his critically acclaimed album Honey, released in October 2024. Making history as the first-ever K-Pop group at Sziget, South Korean girl group KISS OF LIFE will perform hits from their third mini-album Lose Yourself.
London-based DJ and producer Ahadadream, will bring his characteristic drum-based sets to Sziget, followed by UK drum and bass heavyweights Hedex and Bou, promising an explosive and unforgettable experience that bass enthusiasts won’t want to miss. Fresh to Sziget, Joey Valence & Brae will bring their unique b2b hip-hop sound, ready to make their mark with a high-energy set that promises to keep festival-goers dancing until dawn. The diversity of the artists on Sziget’s programme means that there truly is something for every music lover. Sziget’s Magic Mirror stage is also set to return, with UK act Queenz set to dazzle audiences with their new live vocal drag show.
